The Best English-Language Workshops for Kids in Warsaw

A honest comparison of six programmes — ranked by immersion quality, creative value, and what children actually get out of them.

Warsaw has no shortage of activities for children. But finding workshops that run fully in English — where your child is genuinely immersed in the language rather than just hearing the occasional phrase — is harder than it looks.

We looked at the main options available in 2026, assessed them for language quality, creative depth, group size, and year-round availability, and ranked them honestly. Whether you're an expat family, a bilingual household, or simply a parent who wants their child to grow comfortable in English while doing something genuinely exciting — this guide is for you.

How we ranked these workshops

  • English immersion depth

  • Creative & educational value

  • Group size & attention per child

  • Year-round availability

  • Age range coverage (5–12)

• Value for money

The Ranking

Art for Kids — artforkids.pl

Mokotów, Warsaw · Ages 5–12

TOP PICK

100% English

Fine Art

Sculpture & 3D

Art for Kids is the only programme in Warsaw that combines genuine English immersion with dedicated fine art sessions. Every workshop is thematic and unique — children explore painting, sculpture, collage, decoupage, architecture, and 3D design, all while communicating entirely in English. Groups are kept deliberately small (maximum 8–9 children) so each child gets real attention and genuine creative freedom.

The curriculum draws on CLIL methodology (Content and Language Integrated Learning), meaning English isn't an add-on — it's the medium through which children create and think. All materials are provided. Sessions run on regular Saturdays throughout the year, with birthday party formats also available.

For families who want their child to absorb English naturally while doing something genuinely worthwhile, this is the standout option in the city.

Summer Art Camp — Around the World ( the dates 1–9 June 2026, price 650 PLN )

Year-round · Regular Saturday sessions · Mokotów

British School Warsaw — Summer Camp

Mokotów, Warsaw · Ages 3–8

100% English

Arts & Crafts

The British School Warsaw opens its doors to external students each summer for a fully English play-based programme. The setting is premium — spacious green outdoor areas, experienced staff, and the ethos of the Nord Anglia group behind it. Activities span arts, crafts, sports, and experiential outdoor learning.

The main limitation is availability: the camp runs only two weeks in late June and early July. It's an excellent option for younger children (3–8) during the summer, but it doesn't serve families looking for something year-round.

Summer only · June–July · 1,300 PLN/week

Cambridge School of English — Language Camps

City Centre, Warsaw · Ages 6–13

English-taught

Science

Creative

Cooking

One of the strongest value propositions in Warsaw for English-language holiday camps. Cambridge uses a dual-teacher system — a qualified Polish teacher paired with a native speaker from the UK, US, Australia, or Canada — ensuring children hear authentic English throughout. Activities include theatre, music workshops, science experiments, cooking classes, board games, and outdoor excursions.

Groups are small (4–10 children), parent reviews are consistently positive, and the school has been running this format for many years. The main downside: sessions are concentrated in summer rather than spread across the school year.

Summer weekly · 699–999 PLN/week (early bird until June 5)

Sztukarnia — Art Workshops

Mokotów (Odolańska), Warsaw · Ages 6–18

Fine Art

English on request

Sztukarnia is a well-established Warsaw arts centre with a strong creative programme and a loyal following among Polish families. The workshops cover a genuinely wide range of artistic disciplines, and the instructors are qualified and experienced.

For English-speaking families, the key limitation is that Polish is the default — English delivery is available, but only if requested in advance, and it depends on instructor availability. This makes it a strong option for bilingual families or those comfortable with Polish, but less reliable for families who need English as the primary language of instruction.

Year-round · 85 PLN/child (school groups) · Participates in "Warszawa z Klasą"

Thames British School — Summer Intensive

Włochy, Warsaw · Ages 6–16

100% English

Language-focused

The most intensive English-language option on this list — 60 lessons over 10 days, taught entirely in English in a British school environment. For older children who need measurable progress in their English before the new school year, this is a serious and structured choice.

However, it is more language course than creative workshop. Children attend to improve their English, not primarily to make art or experiment. The price point is also significantly higher, and the programme runs only in August. Best suited to ages 10+ who need a language push.

August only · 2,900–4,000 PLN (10-day course)

Simon Says — Art & Science Workshops

Ursynów & Bemowo, Warsaw · Ages 6–12

Taught in English

Science

Art

Simon Says is an English-language school that runs holiday art and science workshops as a seasonal addition to its main curriculum. Classes are conducted in English with vocabulary building woven into the activities. The atmosphere is friendly and the price is one of the most accessible on this list.

The programme is limited to two locations (Ursynów and Bemowo) and runs primarily during school holidays, which restricts accessibility for many Warsaw families. A solid budget option, but not a year-round or city-wide solution.

Holiday sessions · ~400 PLN/week · Ursynów & Bemowo

Our verdict

If you're looking for year-round English-language workshops where children genuinely create — and genuinely speak English — Art for Kids is the only programme in Warsaw that delivers both at once. The combination of full English immersion, small groups, and a rotating fine art curriculum is unique in the city.

or summer specifically, Art for Kids is running the Summer Art Camp "Around the World" (1–9 June 2026, 650 PLN) — a week of immersive art inspired by global cultures, entirely in English. It's the most creative summer option on this list. The British School Warsaw and Cambridge School of English are also solid summer choices, and Thames British School is worth considering for older children who need intensive language development.
