Painting Forest Creatures on Wood 🌲🎨 As always, we love experimenting with different techniques, shapes, and materials — this time, children painted forest creatures on pieces of wood while learning interesting facts about woodland animals. Their artworks were transformed into beautiful keychains, pendants, and necklaces that they could proudly take home. The workshop encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and imagination — and, of course, brought lots of joy!	Individual Air-Dry Clay Workshop – Picasso Faces Today we held an individual workshop during which the participant created their own portraits inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso. Working with air-dry clay allowed for experimentation with form, shapes, and colors, while developing creativity, fine motor skills, and artistic self-expression. Each sculpture was unique and full of imagination!	Clare Youngs’ collage Clare Youngs’ collage art workshop was successfully completed this week. It was a really relaxing session that helped keep kids focused and calm while the others couldn’t resist speeding things up with markers 😄 — showing just how creative and energetic they are! 🪷 Water Lilies by Claude Monet Our little artists found their inner Impressionist this week, drawing inspiration from the legendary Claude Monet and his iconic Water Lilies! 🎨 The kids created their own stunning lily scenes — crafting beautiful lilies and lily pads floating across a peaceful lake — while picking up some wonderful new vocabulary along the way, including petals, pods, and more. Watching them bring Monet's dreamy world to life was pure magic. Who knows — we might have a future Impressionist in the making! 🪷✨	Winter Cities – Building Houses from Milk Cartons 🏘️❄️ During the workshop, children built their own winter houses using recycled milk cartons. Each participant designed and decorated their buildings, creating detailed miniature cities full of character. The activity encouraged creativity, spatial imagination, and fine motor skills — while bringing lots of joy and hands-on fun!	Building Treehouses Kids rolled up their sleeves and got to work building real treehouses from the ground up! Through hands-on workshops, they discovered the secrets of architecture and construction—figuring out how to make structures strong, choosing the right materials, and measuring like pros. The creativity didn't stop there: each team dreamed up their own interior rooms, sketching out wild floor plans and imagining everything from cozy reading nooks to lookout towers.
Winter Village Winter Festive Houses Workshop During the workshop, each family team had the opportunity to design and decorate their own festive winter houses. Using a variety of materials — from wooden structures, colorful paints, and festive decorations like glitter, cotton snow, ribbons, and Christmas-themed accessories — participants created beautiful, unique holiday keepsakes. The event wasn’t just about crafting — it was about connection, joy, and celebrating the magic of the season together.	Bahay Kubo We’re excited to share this week’s project with you — a creative take on traditional bahay kubo houses! 🇵🇭 Using new materials and fresh design ideas, we’re exploring how modern construction can still honor classic Filipino architecture.	Foamy Fantasea Foamy Fantasea: Create Your Own Fish Sculpture Our "Fish of Foam" workshop was an incredible hands-on experience where participants brought their aquatic visions to life through sculptural art! Project “Big Cities – New York” 🏙️ During the workshop, children created their own building inspired by New York and filled each window with small scenes showing what the residents were doing inside. Through this project, they developed imagination, creativity, and attention to detail, while having lots of fun bringing lively miniature stories to life in every window.	Art Bags ART BAGS designed by little creators Every young artist at Art for Kids has their own unique art bag to carry their creative masterpieces! Each child designed their individual bag based on their own imagination and personality. No two bags are alike—just like our amazing artists!	Gaudi`s lizard During the workshop, children created their own version of Antoni Gaudí’s famous lizard, drawing inspiration from his colorful mosaics and imaginative forms. Participants experimented with shapes, colors, and textures. Each project was unique and full of artistic expression.
Christmas Ornaments Christmas Ornaments - String Art with Meaning We made magical Christmas ornaments for decorating the tree using vibrant, colorful strings! Every ornament was crafted by hand, and each one tells a different story. Our young artists poured their imagination and personal meaning into every piece, creating decorations that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.

Making Birdhouses for Cold Winters Children learned how to plan and decorate their houses, choosing colors, patterns, and details that made each piece unique. The activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills, while fostering a sense of care for nature and empathy for animals. Through hands-on construction and painting, children also gained confidence in expressing their ideas and enjoyed the satisfaction of making something practical and beautiful that helps wildlife.	Still Apples by Paul Cézanne During this workshop, children explore Paul Cézanne’s Still Life with Apples and learn how shapes, color, and composition are used in still life painting.	Papier-mâché Mushrooms During this workshop, children explore the papier-mâché technique while creating three-dimensional mushroom artworks. They learn how to build form, apply layers, and add texture, followed by painting and decorating their pieces. The activity introduces the concept of value in art (light and dark tones), helping children understand depth and visual contrast, while developing creativity, fine motor skills, patience, and confidence in artistic expression.

Peter Rabbit Canvas Adventures In this workshop, children painted the story of Peter Rabbit on canvas, bringing their favorite episodes to life with colors and creativity. While painting, they learned about the morals and behaviors of the main characters, exploring lessons of kindness, curiosity, and friendship. The activity encouraged imagination, fine motor skills, and self-expression, allowing each child to interpret the story in their own unique way while having fun with art.
