Painting Forest Creatures on Wood 🌲🎨

As always, we love experimenting with different techniques, shapes, and materials — this time, children painted forest creatures on pieces of wood while learning interesting facts about woodland animals. Their artworks were transformed into beautiful keychains, pendants, and necklaces that they could proudly take home. The workshop encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and imagination — and, of course, brought lots of joy!

Today we held an individual workshop during which the participant created their own portraits inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso. Working with air-dry clay allowed for experimentation with form, shapes, and colors, while developing creativity, fine motor skills, and artistic self-expression. Each sculpture was unique and full of imagination!

Clare Youngs’ collage art workshop was successfully completed this week. It was a really relaxing session that helped keep kids focused and calm while the others couldn’t resist speeding things up with markers 😄 — showing just how creative and energetic they are! Our little artists found their inner Impressionist this week, drawing inspiration from the legendary Claude Monet and his iconic Water Lilies! 🎨 The kids created their own stunning lily scenes — crafting beautiful lilies and lily pads floating across a peaceful lake — while picking up some wonderful new vocabulary along the way, including petals, pods, and more. Watching them bring Monet's dreamy world to life was pure magic. Who knows — we might have a future Impressionist in the making! 🪷✨

During the workshop, children built their own winter houses using recycled milk cartons. Each participant designed and decorated their buildings, creating detailed miniature cities full of character. Kids rolled up their sleeves and got to work building real treehouses from the ground up! Through hands-on workshops, they discovered the secrets of architecture and construction—figuring out how to make structures strong, choosing the right materials, and measuring like pros. The creativity didn't stop there: each team dreamed up their own interior rooms, sketching out wild floor plans and imagining everything from cozy reading nooks to lookout towers.

Winter Festive Houses Workshop During the workshop, each family team had the opportunity to design and decorate their own festive winter houses. Using a variety of materials — from wooden structures, colorful paints, and festive decorations like glitter, cotton snow, ribbons, and Christmas-themed accessories — participants created beautiful, unique holiday keepsakes. The event wasn’t just about crafting — it was about connection, joy, and celebrating the magic of the season together.
