Gaudí's mosaic Gaudí's mosaic Today's winter evening was dedicated to the famous Gaudí and his iconic lizard artwork. We introduced participants to Gaudí’s life and work, learning about his innovative use of color, texture, and geometry in art and architecture. Inspired by his famous mosaic technique, we crafted our own mosaics using various types of paper, textures, and shapes. To make our creations even more vibrant, we added sparkles for a touch of brilliance.	Winter Village Winter Festive Houses Workshop During the workshop, each family team had the opportunity to design and decorate their own festive winter houses. Using a variety of materials — from wooden structures, colorful paints, and festive decorations like glitter, cotton snow, ribbons, and Christmas-themed accessories — participants created beautiful, unique holiday keepsakes. The event wasn’t just about crafting — it was about connection, joy, and celebrating the magic of the season together.	Bahay Kubo We’re excited to share this week’s project with you — a creative take on traditional bahay kubo houses! 🇵🇭 Using new materials and fresh design ideas, we’re exploring how modern construction can still honor classic Filipino architecture.
Foamy Fantasea Foamy Fantasea: Create Your Own Fish Sculpture Our "Fish of Foam" workshop was an incredible hands-on experience where participants brought their aquatic visions to life through sculptural art! The Result: Amazing, colorful fish sculptures that participants proudly took home - each one a unique piece of art created with their own hands! Stay tuned	Art Bags ART BAGS designed by little creators Every young artist at Art for Kids has their own unique art bag to carry their creative masterpieces! Each child designed their individual bag based on their own imagination and personality. No two bags are alike—just like our amazing artists!	Christmas Ornaments Christmas Ornaments - String Art with Meaning We made magical Christmas ornaments for decorating the tree using vibrant, colorful strings! Every ornament was crafted by hand, and each one tells a different story. Our young artists poured their imagination and personal meaning into every piece, creating decorations that are as meaningful as they are beautiful.

Making Birdhouses for Cold Winters Children learned how to plan and decorate their houses, choosing colors, patterns, and details that made each piece unique. The activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor skills, while fostering a sense of care for nature and empathy for animals. Through hands-on construction and painting, children also gained confidence in expressing their ideas and enjoyed the satisfaction of making something practical and beautiful that helps wildlife.	Still Apples by Paul Cézanne During this workshop, children explore Paul Cézanne’s Still Life with Apples and learn how shapes, color, and composition are used in still life painting.	Papier-mâché Mushrooms During this workshop, children explore the papier-mâché technique while creating three-dimensional mushroom artworks. They learn how to build form, apply layers, and add texture, followed by painting and decorating their pieces. The activity introduces the concept of value in art (light and dark tones), helping children understand depth and visual contrast, while developing creativity, fine motor skills, patience, and confidence in artistic expression.

Building Winter Houses Winter is here, and we are getting ready for the Christmas holidays by building and decorating houses. In this activity, children designed and constructed their own winter houses, using a variety of creative materials to make them festive and unique. Through the process, they learned to plan and bring their ideas to life, experimented with shapes and colors, and practiced fine motor skills, all while expressing their creativity and enjoying hands-on artistic fun.	Peter Rabbit Canvas Adventures In this workshop, children painted the story of Peter Rabbit on canvas, bringing their favorite episodes to life with colors and creativity. While painting, they learned about the morals and behaviors of the main characters, exploring lessons of kindness, curiosity, and friendship. The activity encouraged imagination, fine motor skills, and self-expression, allowing each child to interpret the story in their own unique way while having fun with art.
